This is a pretty small overhead for something which is so complex. The library is written entirely in the C programming language, and can be compiled to a tiny 14kb! With all features enabled, this rises to around 20kb. However, unlike standard scrollbars, cool scrollbars can be heavily customized. Cool scrollbars behave exactly like normal scrollbars in a window. Rather than explain how this library works, I will describe how to use the library in your applications. If you want to customize a scrollbar control, then you must devise your own method. Separate scrollbar controls are NOT supported.
